Product Details

Ingredients : 100% Sideritis syriaca-herba
A Pyrenean elixir, whose only ingredient is a beneficial herb from the Balkan mountains, which in our country bears the botanical name of Mountain Plenty and is also known by the names Golden Tea, Greek Mountain Tea, Syrian Mountain Tea, Cretan Tea, Mursal Tea and others. We called it by the name of the Bulgarian mountains where it was grown and for the participants of the legendary seminars with Peter Chobot in Pirin, this name brings back beautiful memories of magical places and experiences from the Pirin Mountains. According to Peter Chobot's memories, we also know that the mountain plant - Latin for Sideritis (he who has iron) - was a favourite herb of the clairvoyant Vanga, who liked to use this herb for healing. We also know from Peter that the herb, in addition to its many healing properties (which we are not allowed to mention here under current legislation), was a sacred herb of the Bogomils and has harmonizing effects and a high vibrational effect on the human spirit. And its delicious taste alone lifts one's spirits.

Dosage. For the crushed herb, prepare an infusion of 1 heaped teaspoon. Infuse for 5-10 minutes. Suitable for all-day drinking. It can also be served cold with ice.
The infusion of Pirin tea sweetened with honey and rosehip tastes very pleasant,
which we have also prepared on the menu to make the pleasure of this exceptional herb complete.
The mountain hemlock (Sideritis syriaca or also Sideritis scardica) is a very special flowering herb with beneficial effects. This fascinating plant with pale yellow flowers, green buds and silvery leaves contains a large amount of essential oils, is rich in antioxidants and polyphenols. It grows only in mountainous areas above 1000 m above sea level, mostly in Bulgaria, Turkey or Greece. Sideritis first appeared in the records of Pedanius Dioscorides, a Greek botanist and physician. This was as early as the 1st century AD. The Latin name refers to the Greek word 'sideros', which translates as iron - and there is plenty of it in the honeysuckle. In ancient times, a decoction of hemlock was given to soldiers. The drink first helped to strengthen the body and then to heal wounds and regenerate the organism. Because of its use, the abundance was then called the tea of soldiers.
In Bulgaria, milk thistle is also known as Bulgarian Viagra, which, without further explanation, shows the wide-spectrum and very popular effectiveness of this versatile herb.
Mountain hemlock contains trace elements, essential oils, phenols and is also a great source of minerals such as zinc, magnesium, sodium, cobalt, copper and especially iron. All of these minerals have a beneficial effect on our cardiovascular system and immune system, as well as stabilizing blood pressure.
